You all are probably wondering for the past few months (save for a few), what on earth is James doing? When is the next chapter of ADAH coming out? Well, I'm not going to make any excuses, so I'll just be straightforward.
I haven't been interested in writing as much anymore. I guess when I started writing last year (boy, it felt like yesterday), there was so much on my mind, I wanted to drain some of that thought and put it on paper. Well, that wasn't the case anymore, because now I no longer have several years' worth of ideas to put on paper, and making up new ideas can be tough. And I'm really struggling to make up new ideas.
Will that mark the end of ADAH and my stories? Hell no. Well kinda, I intend to finish ADAH by the end of 2016, mark my words, but at least there'll be several more chapters coming out. But when ADAH is finished, I'll create a new saga. And when that new saga is finished, I'll create another one, and you get the pattern. I may be slow, but I don't give up.
And finally, and probably the entire reason I wrote this journal, is that I know I'm not alone. I just realized, I'm not the only person that's making up new thoughts for my stories. Hell, very few of the ideas in my stories are truly mine, I borrowed and/or modified ideas from many, many authors (and I'm sure they did the same thing). And, I have you guys too. If you have an idea that you think is really awesome and would like to see, make sure you tell me! And maybe I'll include that in my next story.
Thanks guys!
So, I want to give you an update.
First of all, I came back to see 1,373 notifications... oh well.
Anyways, I just want to give you all an update, and an explanation of why I was absent for so long. I have just completed my freshman year of college, and I go to a fairly prestigious engineering school so it was a very busy and stressful year. Furthermore, I had developed an interest in other aspects of the furry fandom, and I use different sites to follow them.
I’ve been reading the comments I’ve recieved over the past year, and it was great to see new folks take an interest in my stories! I know you all want to see a new chapter of ADAH, but unfortunately that w
Well... It's been a while
It's been way too long since I have been on DA. Jesus, 500 notifications?!
Anyways, thanks for all of your birthday wishes! I had graduated high school, and I will attend Rochester Institute of Technology for the next 5 years. I won't be on DA that much, but I'll still be around!
a bit of a delay
The story I'm writing is on hiatus. I have to write a college essay, as well as other essays for classes. All of those writing really wears me out, so the new story is gonna have to wait just a bit longer
Some writing advices
Hey guys, school's back, and it's time for some little writing lesson, huh? Trust me, it'll make life much easier for you if you take the time to read this great article: https://wrd.as.uky.edu/sites/default/files/1-Shitty%20First%20Drafts.pdf
Long story short, all writers write a "shitty first draft". It's a draft in which you write down all of your creative ideas, without any regard to grammar or punctuation. You just write down your ideas. Once you get it all down, you can revise, or I'd dare say TF, the draft into a shiny, sparkling story.
While writing ADAH, I tried to make the final draft in the first try. It didn't really make for a

yeah I've been wondering! XD
As for the story: I'm really glad you're continuing it! It's okay if you take a break from writing now and then! Even great authors get writing-block for some time! so don't worry about it; it's usual.
Authors have always been inspired to write; be it either the nature and environments or other authors' works. Inspiration does not equal art theft!
I wish you good luck!
